The Name of Our University is a Synonym for “Goddess Saraswati “. She is identified with 'veena' an Indian musical instrument and the 'lotus' where she resides. The lotus in our logo symbolizes the seat of learning that the University is created for. Variety of colors signify the variety of disciplines the university offers and the overlap between petals creating new colors demonstrate the ethos of collaboration between students and teachers of different courses, nationality, creed and color working towards creating new knowledge.
When Sharda celebrates this year fourth glorious year of its existence, we not only count academic achievements but we count on cultural activities along with them. An integral part of our curriculum for our students to participate in activities of sports, or cultural activities or social services.
Within first few year’s what may be a normal youth festival. We have set a bench mark to become grandest campus festival in North India. Chorus was born in 2010 and its originators focused on providing a launch pad for coming generations to be part of such a dynamic organization.
Chorus, the annual mega-cultural festival of Sharda University and one of the largest and the most glamorous fests of Northern India, is celebrated in February every year. It is an amalgamation of entertainment, excitement, and puissance. Chorus promises a delicious cocktail of cultural diversity, social awareness and unending entertainment, by offering a rich blend of dance, music, arts, workshops and quizzes.
This has been a trend for past years and it is a tradition we shall endeavor to maintain. We proudly invite you to participate in CHORUS 2013.
